The Edgewater is located in a quaint village in the City of Kawartha Lakes. Bobcaygeon has been sought out for years as a favourite resort area because of its outstanding recreational attributes. In recent years the village has moved into a new era that of allowing its beauty and environment to be enjoyed by an ever increasing fulltime population. The village offers all kinds of activities (12 months), fine dining, coffee shops, great shopping. Bobcaygeon is home to Lock 32 the first lock built on the Trent Severn Waterways and continues to be one of the busiest in the system. The village is only a short walk from the Edgewater, as are other parks in the area.

The active adult lifestyle that the Edgewater offers to its' owners allows shared enjoyment of many activities from boating, swimming in both the pool and Little Bob Channel, fishing, card nights, pub nights, theatre outings and the luxury of an intimate community within a village.
