The parkland setting of the Edgewater, encourages owners to have an equally attractive patio just outside their door.

There are many such patios as can be seen in the photos.

Several years ago, one of the owners presented an award for the best patio of the year and it is an annual event each year, celebrated in July with a garden party on the clubhouse deck and grounds.

The judging is done internally, by the last three winners of the contest. Just to keep it fair, once you have won the "best patio" award you are out of the running for the next 3 years.

The 2011 Best Patio award was presented on July 29th,
and the winning patio is 606
